About
I blend several healing modalities to create a personalized approach that meets you exactly where you are. Through my training in visceral manipulation at the Moving Mountains Institute and Trauma Informed Relational Bodywork at the Pacific Center for Awareness and Bodywork, I've learned to work with both the physical and emotional patterns we carry in our bodies. This trauma-sensitive approach helps create lasting change through mindful, responsive touch. My work all stems from the belief that our bodies are our greatest ally and are here to support us in living a life of presence and vitality. I do this work in service to expanding inner landscapes, creating more space & embodied presence in ourselves, so that we can in turn bring more space & presence to our dreams, communities, lives and the world.

I loved my massage with Jacob! His pressure and communication were great. I appreciated that he took audible breaths when he could see that I was forgetting to breathe, reassuring me that he was present and focused on the session. It was easy to see that Jacob has a body worker’s intuition and I am stoked to receive more work from him in the future!

Jacob's style of massage is deeply therapeutic, utilizing steadily applied, focused, and progressive pressure along fascia, which, coupled with breath and my own concerted relaxation
resulted in deep openings, decreased tension, and increased vitality. The focus of our session was lower body, and my legs/hips feel so strong, free, and supple after our session. I could imagine doing a series of these sessions could unwind and release years of stored stress!!! 100% recommend working with Jacob. He is friendly, professional and intelligent. It was a pleasure!
